A place for your love online, forever.

So you’re getting married!

Or at the very least, you’re interested in a life-partner vibe.

There are always going to be situations where you and your partner don’t see eye-to-eye. But the one thing you can both agree on is building your website on Squarespace.

Think you’re ready to take the plunge and put your relationship online? Here are our tips for creating a beautiful online home together.

If this all doesn’t work out, you can always follow the same steps with an ex.

Buy a Domain Together

If your partner is ready to combine your names followed by a dot com, you’ve got them for at least 1 year until the domain license lapses.

Decorate Your Site

Choosing a Squarespace template is basically decorating your house, but online. If you can agree to a layout, color scheme, and a font, a trip to a flat-packed furniture store should be a breeze.

Put a Label On It

You’ve had the talk. You know what you are. It’s time to update your Squarespace’s ‘About’ page with a joint bio and let the world know you’re in love, and are most-probably getting married.

Set up a Joint Account

You trust your partner, but not so much that you’d give them your password. That’s fine! Squarespace allows you to add multiple users, because while you might share bodily fluids, there are some things you just don’t share.

Live Happily Ever After

Hit publish and share your site with friends, family, and ex-lovers. It’s official. You’re both off the market online, and IRL.
